MOTIVATION MONDAY-OPEN LETTER

Do you know who you are? Not your accomplishments, what you have, or what you're doing for other people that make them proud of you but do you know who YOU are? What do you want out of the only life you have to live? We get lost on the quests of life and often forget to live it.

Monday's have gotten this bad rap for being the bully of the week, everybody screams how they hate Monday's

but they still showing up for that thing they hate. I am not here to motivate you to leave your 9-5 cause you hate Monday's; that's not everyones calling in life regardless of what social media tries to tell you. Anyway, Monday's aren't all bad, they are hard but they shouldn't be this negative spill of hopelessness.

If you are a believer in the notion that all your words are powerful and what you speak, feel, and constantly house in your mind becomes your woe, your life, your being. Promoting positivity and kind things in your words, in your mind, and actions you will begin to see the changes in every single aspect of your life. I know, here we go again right, but it is true.

I use to have a chip on my shoulder as big as Africa. I was angry, hurt, afraid, unaware, but I masked all of this from people, the close ones I loved. Hiding behind working hard, I caffeinated myself up enough to get the job done and kept my head down. If anyone knew I was troubled or lost they never told me. I knew how to play the role, the game, and win at it but I was so hurt I was empty and I was unsure of what I was doing or who I was. I was tired of that place, it was dark. I got to my happy place and I am going to share with you how.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS AND YOUR GROWTH!

The practice of open journaling (this is what I call it) is what got me through some of the hardest Monday's and got me out of the dark lifestyle I was living. I hope these tips help you to get through and see Monday's as a grand day for new beginnings.

You want to ensure you think good thoughts, positive thoughts. Practice with speaking life into your world once you begin writing.

1. Buy a journal that motivates you to write:

Find something that inspires you to want to write.

2. Make sure it is easy to open and turn pages:

You want to get something that is comfortable and easy to use so get a journal that is flexible and easy to turn the pages with.

3. Write without thinking:

When you journal you want to put down everything that is in your head, don't worry about it making sense, feeling afraid to put it out there just openly and freely write whatever comes to mind.

4. Do daily:

Like anything journaling takes time and practice so to heal you have to clear your thoughts often. So what if you feel like writing 3-4 times a day just write.

I hope this helps you on your way to clear focus and motivation. Shoot me a line and let me know how journaling has helped you. Share this with anyone you think will need it!
