MUSIC: SATURDAY'S IN THE STUDIO

Hey everyone welcome back to the studio where we hang out and talk about new music this week. We got you guys covered with music from T-pain, Fantasia and featuring a new artist Do-dad. Grab your Henny mixes and lets vibe.

Putting purpose back in hip-hop has seem to be the wave and I am excited to be riding this one. I came across an artist by the name of "Do Dad" and this dude is worth rocking to. Rappers who hold the title to be considered "conscious" rappers have a lot to say about the political stance (i.e. Trump, lack of government urgency to major disasters, etc.). There is also a lot of emphasis on topics that Black folks often times try to sweep under the rug in regards to advancing the race (now that's a whole other post). Do-dad holds nothing back as he spits the real giving while giving you something to feel and move to. His recent release Dead President is the truth you can listen to below:

T-pain new album-Oblivion

This album was so long overdue! The auto-tune phenom surprised us all with this one (now him being on the Gary Vee show makes sense, it was pretty good:

Anyway...T-pain delivered the quality club hit mixes. Overall I really believe if you are a woman who and you deem some short of respect (as small as a muster seed) you would be offended by some of the songs. I personally was confused by a few tracks. It's a lot of talk about women and who he wants to fuck, and how women ain't shit, a whole lot of sex and women bashing. He has about two songs that you will feel you can rock to. Overall, I personally was not a fan of every track but I am so of T-pain and a few tracks. My opinion, hit the link below and tell me your thoughts.

Fantasia album- Christmas After Midnight

Are you ready for Christmas? Are you one of those that is just not ready? Let this album get you in the spirit and for those of us who are already there this will heighten your excitement for the holiday. Fantasia's voice is amazing, she wows us with this album. Christmas After Midnight feels like Nat King Cole, Nina Simone, and Eda James all met up and guided Fantasia. Take time out and lift your spirits and feed your soul to some good music. Tell me what you think when you've got your fix in the comments.

That is all for this week at the studio! See you next Saturday.
